It’s all in the Name by Mindy Love
She divorced.
She was no longer his wife.
She didn’t need his name.
She was no one’s daughter.
She didn’t have a name to go back to.
That is when the idea flooded over her and filled her with delight. She would choose her own last name.
It signified the fact that she would never abandon herself again. She would be so devoted to herself, as she was for 17 years to someone else. She would listen her needs, wants, desires and she would FILL them.
She wasn’t given an tight knit, understanding family, but she would build one.
She would only give from an overflowing cup.
She would bring honor to her name.
She would use her pain and turn in to a healing potion for the desperate of heart.
She would welcome the outcasts, the loners, the people looking in from the outside. The ones who felt they didn’t belong anywhere.
She would use her talents and help others succeed.
She would become the voice to voiceless.
The ear for the deaf.
The friend to friendless.
And a mother to the motherless.
She would build a legacy of love that was stronger than any other human had done in the past.
Her name would stay the same until her Tomb Stone.
And so did it! She birthed Mindy Love; her bad self.
